Aid & Prep's Home First Aid Kit Announces Back to School Sale

Now that they school year has started up again and college students are settling into their new dorm rooms, parents are learning where they hit and where they missed when it came to buying dorm room necessities.  The electric kettle, laundry detergent and comfy bedding were likely huge hits. But the one item most partents and students don't give any thought to is a first aid kit for their dorm room. Student don't give much thought to it, that is, until they need one and they realize they can't go under the sink in the famliy bathroom anymore and use those supplies mom always had stored in the family first aid kit.

Pasadena, CA based Aid & Prep has released their complete home first aid kit to the Amazon marketplace and it is on sale this month to coincide with kids returning to college . This kit has been designed to include everything that is needed to deal with minor emergencies and everyday mishaps.  It is small and lightweight, yet is complete with four separate compartments that fold up for easy storage.

Aid & Prep's spokesperson Brodie Vaughn says: "Over the years when my nieces and nephew went off to college, my go to back to school gift was always a first aid kit. Our kit is perfect for college dorms. It's small, compact and lightweight because we all know space is at a premium in a dorm room and yet it has everything one needs for everyday emergencies."

All colleges have medical centers and most have RA's or resident assistants living in dorms. Students can travel to the medical center or wake their RA up at wee hours of the morning when a small emergency arises, but a personal first aid kit in the dorm room can make life much easier for them. Also, the Aid & Prep fist aid kit is compact enough to fit in most glove boxes and is frequently purchased as a car first aid kit. This makes it an especially good choice for students who commute or who drive home frequently during the school year.

So next time you are putting together a care package for your favorite college student, leave some space next to the home made cookies for a much needed and often overlooked dorm necessity: a first aid kit.
